February 27, 2011: Synapse

            Sometimes desperation = inspiration. I really wasn't sure what I was going to shoot today and was looking around somewhat desperately and happened to take notice of an empty clementine crate. It has this mesh covering the top and just wouldn't let go of my attention with the cool patterns it made when layered over itself. It reminded me a little of the educational films that try to illustrate the complex synapses of the brain. Turned out pretty cool, I thought.
