Museum Collections Centre - 25 Dollman Street - The Spirit of Enterprise

I went to the Open Day at the Museum Collections Centre - 25 Dollman Street on the 13th of May 2012.

At the Dollman Street Stores they have objects that are not currently on display in the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery or Think Tank. Some items used to be in the old Museum of Science & Industry on Newhall Street.

Outside the warehouse is various objects left out in all weathers.

Finally I get to see The Spirit of Enterprise after 3 years! I last took this in April 2009 (and after that it was moved here to Dollman Street while the Library of Birmingham was being built).

I have no idea if it will go back to Centenary Square or not (doesn't appear in the designs of the area outside the new library).

It is by Tom Lomax, made in 1991. The fountain has three heads.

One head represents Commerce, one head represents Enterprise and the other Industry.
