Mallory 2012. Note: crest double series of lobes, inner series linear, outer series longer, spatulate, entire.  This was taken when the lowaland savanna was very wet, after months of daily rain.
In the December 2023 classification snapshot Polygala adenophora DC. (POLYGALACEAE) “was accepted by WFO (placed as the accepted name of a taxon). Its description and other taxonomic data can be found on World Flora Online, id: wfo-0000484001.”
