Coryphospingus cucullatus, popularmente conhecido como tico-tico-rei, é uma espécie de ave da família Emberizidae.
Pode ser encontrada nos seguintes países: Argentina, Bolívia, Brasil, Equador, Guiana Francesa, Guiana, Paraguai, Peru, Suriname e Uruguai.
Seus habitats naturais são: florestas secas tropicais ou subtropicais , florestas subtropicais ou tropicais húmidas de baixa altitude, matagal árido tropical ou subtropical e florestas secundárias altamente degradadas.

It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.
