Yesterday I was attending the two hour long Rotterdam Airport tour in a group of about 20 people. It started off by a welcome talk by the Commercial Director of the airport: Désirée Breedveld. She helped my graduate at the airport way back in 2006 when she was head of Marketing & Communication department. People could ask questions and after that a collegue of her took us down to show us the new fancy departures terminal. Then into the bus. The bus driver took as to different parts of the airport in around the platform: jet center, hangars, trauma helicopter, fire department and snow plowers.

Then the 'Peter Pan' Transavia 737 was about the depart. A vehicle from Operation drove in front of us to follow the aircraft to the runway! It took off and we drove over the runway behind is. After that another Transavia 737 was about the depart and we followed along side it for a bit. After that we went back in and were showed the new arrivals terminal. Shitty weather but great tour, great fun!
