197/365: Eldritch Horror - a photo on Flickriver

197/365: Eldritch Horror

            Another day with a board game. And another solo one at that - though this time, it's actually in play. The Great Old Ones try to escape from their prisons underneath Antarctica, and my humble investigators attempt to stop them...

I have no clue how the story ends yet. Looks better than other times I played, but the lovely gal you see is rather close to dying - and was first poisoned and then got an infected wound from a bite, so she couldn't use the spell of Healing Words that she had learned while meeting a wizard in a city somewhere.

Did I mention that this game is tremendously thematic? It's really an awesome ride through the worlds of H.P. Lovecraft et. al.
