Under the Pier. - a photo on Flickriver

Under the Pier.

            I wandered down to the riverside, pre-dawn, hoping for the forecast mist to materialise. Not a scrap of it! 
Anyway, I tooled about for a while until the tide receded far enough to allow me to explore amongst the rust and weed beneath the pier and I spotted this comp. It was a bit of a rush to get an image before the sun fully emerged from behind the bridge and space was somewhat limited so focus and/or exposure stacking was out, it was 'one shot wonder' time and here it is.
