Salesforce Tower (formerly Transbay Tower) is an office skyscraper in the South of Market district of downtown San Francisco.  It is the tallest skyscraper in the San Francisco skyline and the second-tallest building west of the Mississippi River. The tower opened in 2018 and has 61 floors, with a decorative crown reaching 1,070 ft. 

The building is named for its largest lessee, the cloud-computing multinational technology corporation....Salesforce. The building is mostly owned by Boston Properties, the real-estate investment trust. Much like the Transamerica Pyramid, Salesforce Tower has emerged as an icon of the new San Francisco.
