The Lost Street - East Manchester

            Parrot St, Clayton West, Manchester.
The large scale urban regeneration of East Manchester, one of the UK's most deprived areas began in 2006, but one row of 5 terraced houses still remain 8 years on. Parrot St was at the heart of the sprawling Clayton West estate and has made a defiant stand against the bulldozers, as Manchester City Council  still search for the properties owner to  serve the last CPO and finish the clearance.
The area surrounding Parrot St  is an eerie place, the streets still criss-cross, marking the layout of the  once thriving community.
