War memorial & plaque

            This war memorial dedicated to the memory of the railway workers who lost their lives in The Great War. They were the staff of the London and North Western and Great Western railways.who died in WWI.

Below that is a much more recent plaque commemorating the composition of the Welsh hymn tune "Tydi a roddaist" by Dr Arwel Hughes in 1938.
