New York City,New York (USA) - a photo on Flickriver

From August 12 to August 25, 2019, my daughter Anna and I spent our holidays in the USA.
We stopped in San Francisco, Chicago and New York.
The main reason for our trip was the reunion with our friends Jon Provost and Laurie Jacobson in Santa Rosa near San Francisco and Tony Brooks and his family in Dolton near Chicago.
But of course we enjoyed the beautiful cities of San Francisco, Chicago and New York with their great sights as well.
A special experience for me was, of course, that I was allowed to stop at home of my friend, Hollywood actor Jon Provost, in Santa Rosa. Jon acted the little "Timmy" in "Lassie" and I grew up with this great TV series. For many years now I have been friends with him and his wife Laurie and in June 2016 I had the great pleasure of showing Jon and Laurie my hometown Stuttgart (Germany). Now Jon and Laurie showed my daughter Anna and me where they lived and we had wonderful days in sunny California.
Also Tony Brooks and his wife Lenora and daughter Cerenity, were in the city tour in June 2016 in Stuttgart with it. And so it was a great pleasure to have a reunion in Chicago and to live in Dolton with Tony and his family.
From the many photos, I have made a small selection, with which I would like to look back on this wonderful holiday and the encounters in the USA.

Vom 12.August bis 25.August 2019, verbrachten meine Tochter Anna und ich unseren Urlaub in den USA.
Wir machten dabei Station in San Francisco, Chicago und New York.
Hauptgrund unserer Reise, war das Wiedersehen mit unseren Freunden Jon Provost und Laurie Jacobson in Santa Rosa bei San Francisco und Tony Brooks und seiner Familie in Dolton bei Chicago.
Aber selbstverständlich haben wir die schönen Städte San Francisco, Chicago und New York mit ihren tollen Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr genossen.
Ein besonderes Erlebnis für mich war natürlich, dass ich bei meinen Freund, Hollywoodschauspieler Jon Provost, zuhause in Santa Rosa Station machen durfte. Jon spielte den kleinen „Timmy“ in „Lassie“ und ich bin mit dieser tollen Fernsehserie groß geworden. Seit vielen Jahren bin ich nun mit ihm und seiner Frau Laurie befreundet und hatte im Juni 2016 das große Vergnügen, Jon und Laurie meine Heimatstadt Stuttgart (Deutschland)zu zeigen. Nun zeigten Jon und Laurie uns, meiner Tochter Anna und mir, wo sie lebten und wir hatten wunderbare Tage im sonnigen Kalifornien.
Auch Tony Brooks und seine Frau Lenora sowie Tochter Cerenity, waren bei der Stadtführung im Juni 2016 in Stuttgart mit dabei. Und so war es auch hier eine große Freude, sich in Chicago wiederzusehen und in Dolton bei Tony wohnen zu dürfen.
Aus den vielen Fotos, habe ich eine kleine Auswahl getroffen, mit denen ich auf diesen wunderbaren Urlaub und die Begegnungen in den USA zurückblicken möchte.
