2022 Commencement - Deane School of Law - Hofstra University

            Commencement for Spring and August 2022 graduates of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law was held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 7 p.m. at the Mack Sports & Exhibition Complex.

The Honorable Eric L. Adams, MPA, Mayor of New York City, received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree and presented remarks. Mayor Adams has served the people of New York City as an NYPD officer, State Senator, Brooklyn Borough President, and now as Mayor of the City of New York, the nation’s largest city. He is the 110th Mayor of New York and the second Black Mayor in the city’s history.
