To go up or to go down? - a photo on Flickriver

To go up or to go down?

            Which side should I choose? The one going up or
the one going down?
And maybe both sides are going down? Or up?
Or maybe what I see is
just an illusion and the path is straight?
And if I choose one side to go up, who guarantees
that the other side will go down?
It's all in my head.
And it's all a matter of my decision - at any given moment.
So, what do I choose?

Monter ou descendre ?
De quel côté choisir ? Celui qui monte ou
celui qui descend ?
Et si les deux côtés descendaient ? Ou montaient ?
Ou peut-être que ce que je vois est
juste une illusion et que le chemin est droit ?
Et si je choisis un côté pour monter, qui me garantit
que l'autre côté descendra ?
Tout est dans ma tête.
Et tout est une question de ma décision - à chaque instant.
