Outside Angkor Wat for Sunrise

            This was taken outside the majestic Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia. The sunrise is reflected in the giant moat constructed around the complex in the 12th century to prevent anyone from ever taking the Khmer capital again. It worked for the longest time, which is one of the reasons the temples are so well preserved.

You can catch a glimpse of the main temple in the background with its distinct roof ornaments.
