I absolutely love this colorway and the similar Indigo Racer pink colorway.
I have both and also similar 990 V3, but I do not know where these shoes went, I am sure they are somewhere in my house but not sure where they are at now.
Anyway, this colorway is very unpopular here as it has a lot of pink and silver parts, I do not know why but many East Asian boys and men hate pink, or they are too shy to wear pink shoes or all red shoes. That's sad cause pink is a very cool color especially when used as some sort of accent color like in this particular colorway, I think this is an amazing colorway, if not the best 2002R colorway.
These 2002R and 860 v2 may be my all-time favorite shoes from NB.
I really love these 2002R's for many reasons, currently I have just 14 pairs, but I think I will get a few more pairs very soon. I think these are super underrated just because these are not a part of the Made series, these shoes deserve a bit more respect.
I also love the 610 T and the 860 v2 series, I think they should have made them in the US or in the UK, that would be super cool (I prefer made in UK though).
I think after wearing these for a few days it is hard for me to go back to my NB 992, 237 or 997, etc., these 992 or 997 are also fine shoes (look great for sure) but not as comfy as any of real comfy NB shoes like this pair of 2002R.
Just a couple of years ago, I had more Adidas shoes than any other brand shoes in my second shoe room, but now I have more NB, Nike and Saucony than any other brand shoes.
I think the real reason I am slowly moving away from Adidas is that they are overcharging and exploiting Asia. Also, their main focus seems to be on the neoclassic shoes like the Samba and Gazelle, which I really dislike.
So, it is just safe to buy Nike or NB instead.
I think Adidas and Puma really need to improve their horrible shipping service here. I can't even specify the time of delivery, and I am not at my house in daytime.
Puma is even worse than Adidas sometimes, their App freezes for a few minutes and I cannot complete my order. I think I actually love some of their apparels and shoes like RSX, RS-Fast and Velophasis, but now I am kind of scared to use their mediocre app. Adidas is a bit better now, but still one of the very worst in this business in terms of service. And I think until they fix this very annoying issue, they will never be able to narrow the gap with Nike. They need a new app that actually works fast. AdiClub app is really bad. I uninstalled Confirmed and all other their shitty apps like Runtastic, etc.
Nike Apps are a million years ahead of Adidas and Puma. Even Reebok app is better than Adidas app. Oh, Puma and Adidas app seem to reject my orders when I use VPN. NB and Nike apps are always fine even when I use some VPN that my university has provided for me.
UPDATE: I think I will uninstall Adidas Confirmed and all Puma related apps, they really slow me down and make me furious.
I do not need Puma or Adidas anyway when I have NB, Nike and Under Armour.
UPDATE 2: Puma now refuses to sell anything to me. Whenever I try to check out, they say Bad Request. I called the customer support and asked why this happens to me so many times in this month, then they asked me to try on another device or OS. So, I did try that on my PC, Mac, iOS, Android and my office's machine, but they never allowed me to checkout as soon as I logged in as me.
I really wanted to get a specific pair of the Velpphasis in my size, but I just gave up and my money for that would be used for another pair of the MT580 or the 610T instead.
Puma and Adidas are unpopular for many reasons, and they deserve the current level of popularity, I mean they are just rightly rated. They are rude and disrespectful companies. I guess I am done with Puma and Adidas now although I like some of their 90's or y2k retro shoes. It is just not worth the effort and time.
Adidas sucks now.
