Frasier: No. I just picked it up and put it in my backpack.
DS Latte: That backpack?
Frasier: Yes. I brought it back with me to the morgue for Dr Yubari.
Dr Yubari: But you never told me about the head.
Frasier: You weren't there so I took it out of the backpack and put it on the autopsy table.
Dr Yubari: And where is the head now?
Frasier: It's probably with the body. It seemed to be stuck on there pretty good.
Sgt Danbo: Stuck on there? Explain, please.
Frasier: Like I said, it looked kind of the same, so I pushed it onto the neck. It popped right on.
Sgt Danbo: Did you see anybody move the body?
Frasier: No. After I finished cleaning up I left the morgue to do some of my other chores. When I came back later it was gone.
Dr Yubari: And you didn't think to tell me any of this?
Frasier: You always know what I'm thinking. I must've been thinking of something else by that time.
Dr Yubari: What did the head look like, Frasier?
Frasier: It had long, dark hair and the face was kind of mangled and bloody.
Sgt Danbo: (Sighs heavily) Have you washed your backpack since then?
Frasier: I've never washed it. The blood dried and it didn't smell or anything.
Sgt Danbo: I'll need to take it with me, son.
Frasier: OK, I guess. I'll have to carry my lunch in something else.
