Flickr has an intermittent problem where some uploads are not visible in our activity feed (i.e. flickr.com). For example, I uploaded this photo yesterday and, more than 24 hours later, it has only received five views. A few other photos I've uploaded the past two weeks have had the same low view problem.

There was a Help Forum thread about this that Flickr closed as "resolved" despite the problem clearly not being resolved. After yesterday's low views I sent in a support request and got a generic "our engineers are working on a solution and will let you know when it is resolved" type of response.

Anyway, if you happen to see a similar pattern on your photostream, where one photo gets almost no views in between photos that get your normal amount of views, I would encourage you to use the contact form to let Flickr know it's happening to you. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!

Finally, until this error is resolved I don't see any point in posting photos from last fall's Pennsylvania (and soon Ohio) trip as that has a bit of a narrative.
