EI-CET Lockheed L188C(F) Electra II Hunting Cargo Airlines MAN 24SEP93

            Replacing an earlier scanned print with a better version 10-Feb-19, plus DeNoise AI 06-Jan-23.

This aircraft was delivered to Northwest Orient Airlines as N138US in Jun-61.  It was sold to the FPE Travel Club in Sep-71 and leased to Aeronauts International in Mar-72.

It was sold to Jet Leasing Inc in Mar-73 and leased to Air Florida later the same month.  It was re-registered N24AF in Feb-74 and Air Florida bought it in Aug-74.  The aircraft was withdrawn from use and stored at Miami, FL, USA in Oct-76.

It was sold to American Jet Industries in Mar-77 and converted to freighter configuration with a main deck cargo door by Jul-77.  Integrity Aircraft Sales Inc bought it as N668F in Nov-77 and leased it to Fleming International Airways.

Fleming International was renamed CAM Air International in Sep-83.  They were merged into Spirit of America Airlines in Aug-86.  The aircraft continued in service until it was stored at Tucson, AZ, USA in Oct-89.

The JBQ Aviation Corporation  bought it in Dec-90 and moved it to Opa-Locka, FL, USA for further storage.  It was leased to EI-Air Exports as EI-CET in Jul-92 and it was sold to Hunting Cargo Airlines in Apr-93.  The aircraft was retired and stored at East Midlands Airport UK in Jun-98.

It was sold to Atlantic Air Transport and leased to Atlantic Airlines in Sep-98 and moved across to Coventry Airport, UK for further storage.  The aircraft was re-registered G-LOFE in Jan-99.

It was sold to Buffalo Airways (Canada) as C-GZFE in Apr-13. Now an amazing 61.5 years old, it's still shown as 'active'. Although, according to FR24, it hasn't flown since Sep-22 and is stored at Yellowknife, NT, Canada.  Updated 06-Jan-23.
