            i am back from the Death Warmed Over Camp and can report that even though illness was impending and the elements were anything but friendly, Cherry Pixelator and She'ne'ne and i had one hell of a great time going Full Retard on our first ever Goodtime Girls Road Trip!

I am going to get this out of the way right now~ NO i did not get the epic sunrise in Bandon on Sunday despite driving 500 miles, perservering through rain, fog and wind, convincing my girls that THERE would be a payoff sunday morning after i was wrong saturday night~wait for it...WAIT FOR IT!!!  i missed it.

actually, i did not miss it~i shot it-at, ahem, 3200 iso...DON'T ASK!!!!  it's THIS guy's fault!  RIGHT HERE!!! 

i told ryan dyar that the best shot i got of the sunrise that morning was of him riding the log after a series of killer waves had the rest of us scrambling into the beach grass along the sandy cliffs.

so he said i could post it:)

and he did give that log one hell of a ride~ 4 frames worth.  but in the end he got wet all the way up to his scooby doo's~I suspect!

gotta hand it to him though~he got the shot.  lil F'er rolled out of his truck mid sunrise and landed on a log, nailed the comp and exposure on a beach he had never even seen before while Surfin' USA.

so, next time me or my P'adner in Crime, Seattle Miles, ask you "what would dyar do?" you have your answer, my friends.
