Highgate London 17th August 2016

            The abandoned Highgate East tunnels on the Edgware, Highgate & London Railway branch from Seven Sisters Road (now Finsbury Park) on the GNR main line out of Kings Cross. 

The tunnels are beneath Shepherd's Hill and Highgate station is at the other end. The trackbed of the branch from this point down to Finsbury Park is now the Parkland Walk. It closed to passengers in 1954 and to goods and stock movements in 1971.
