London Liverpool Street Station 3rd July 1977

            The taxi ramp at the country end of Liverpool Street station was a good place to get an overview of the activity. A British Rail Class 309/AM9 electric multiple unit is departing (to Clacton?) past an unidentified Class 47 diesel in an adjacent platform.

This open view has of course been obliterated by get-rich-quick buildings today.
