Great Central Railway Loughborough Leicestershire 8th October 2024

            It's the end of our shift on Stanier 8F 2-8-0 48305 and after getting soaked running tender-first back to Loughborough we are on shed to dispose.

The British Railways logo gleams in the gloom under Empress Road bridge where we sheltered although I still had to empty the smokebox out in the rain.
