Great Central Railway Loughborough Leicestershire 26th February 2012

            It was only just getting light on shed at Loughborough & I hadn't lit the fire yet but Ivatt Class 2 2MT 2-6-0 46521 still had 20psi on the boiler pressure gauge (top right) from its use on last night's dining train. 

Less than a month out of Works the cab positively sparkles. That white cab roof has still to be turned a work-stained grey although the wooden cab floor is already coal-coloured!
