Great Central Railway Loughborough Leicestershire 1st April 2012

            British Railways Standard 2 2-6-0 headed the 12.55 passenger train to Leicester and back. On our return to Loughborough we took water and ran into the Down Loop. We had been told we would be stabling the stock of the minerals train in the Down sidings but decided the plans must have changed when the stock of the minerals train suddenly left for Rothley Brook behind GWR Hall 4-6-0 4953 Pitchford Hall!
