Silent Hangar - a photo on Flickriver

At the time these were taken, this airport was still listed as operation in FAA data. Somehow, as I post this in December 2021, someone finally realized it's been cornfields for about a decade or more, and it has been delisted. I wonder what stories this field could tell, of flying in days past?

Established in August of 1948; I presume this was a "Flying Farmer" airstrip, as are so many of the older grass strips that dot (or dotted) rural Ohio. Other than that, I don't know much else. (Yet.)
