Departure time

De grote interurban-motorwagen 160 is juist het station van East Union binnengereden. Langs het perron hangt nog een walm van warme remblokken. De compressor tikt er in een vast ritme lustig op los om de luchtketel van de Westinghouse-rem weer op druk te brengen. De passagiers hebben de wachtkamer in allerijl verlaten en waarbij de deur is open blijven staan. Het oponthoud in het station duurt maar kort want de interurban staat bekend om een vlotte dienstuitvoering.
