-Previously-

When we last left Mark of Falworth he had just fallen into a hole full of glowing liquid! And the monstrous dragon had charged after his terrified friend Didrik!

Contrary to popular belief, the Loreesi are quite competent in the water. Mark splashed out and furiously sputtered

"THAT DOES IT!! Where are you, you ugly freak of nature!?!"

The only reply Mark got was the distant rumble of the huge beast miles down the ravine.
Mark jumped to his feet and stumbled blindly along the abyss towards the direction of the sounds!

Didrik!! Where are you?! And where is IT?! I can't see a thing!!
It's hard to make good time when groping about in total darkness with only a slight idea of which way to go.

As the roars and crashing of boulders grew fainter and quieter, Mark became desperate and anxious to rescue his faithful squire from a horrible end!
But by this time Mark was totally lost.

"Wait, was it this way?! Or... Maybe it was this way?! Oh, no no no!! I hate this place!"

Suddenly A terrible scream erupted from the distance and echoed off the walls in every direction!

Mark froze in his steps, his heart pounding in his chest.

He knew he had lost his last friend. And he was now completely alone.


After two days, Mark finally found a way out of the awful darkness.
He wandered across the moors deeply saddened by the loss of his last friends. But he would go on. For the Glory of Loreos!
