Drama At The Martyrs Memorial 1

            I am not sure what is going on here. A young woman dressed in red and white, with "Lolita" printed on the front of her outfit, stands on the steps of the Martyrs Memorial in Oxford, England. In the next shot she covers her face with her hands in a dramatic gesture while two onlookers watch from below (unfortunately, a car obscures one of the onlookers entirely in this shot), and another man sits unmoved on the steps eating his lunch. The problem with tours is that you often are not able to take time to investigate something fun and unusual. I am on my way out of Oxford with my Cosmos tour or else I would have found out what was going on here. We traveled to great spots on this tour, but it was much too rushed. England is so easy to get around in, I should have simply traveled on my own.
