Indian Land Working Group meets the Knowledge Preservation Project.

            A small portion of the National Society for American Indian Elderly (NSAIE) table, featuring the Knowledge Preservation gear. as well as a very useful progression of Native Americans Reservations map, produced by Indian Land Working Group (ILWG).

The NSAIE participated in the Pueblo Grande Museum & Archaeological Park's 6th annual Native Foods & Craft Fair on Saturday, October 17th, 2009.

Growers and crafters from throughout Arizona were in attendance, sweating out the unseasonably HOT 95 degree temperatures. 

There was something on hand for all ages, including: crafts / jewelry & food vendors , hands-on activities, handicraft demonstrations, pumpkin decorating and, of course,  traditional Native American frybread & Navajo tacos.

The NSAIE's AZ AmeriCorps VISTAs sold cookbooks, passed out Knowledge Preservation Project Information & kicked back with members in our local community.
