218-Doppel auf dem Weg zur Insel

Nein, die Rede ist nicht von der Marschbahn, wo sich die 218-Doppel über den Hindenburgdamm nach Sylt kämpfen, sondern vielmehr vom beschaulichen Lindau. Dort konnte ich am 01. August 2013 beobachten, wie die Ulmer 218 434-9 zusammen mit einer Schwestermaschine den IC 119 auf die Insel Lindau bringt. In wenigen Minuten wird der Zug im Hauptbahnhof der bayerischen Stadt zum Stehen kommen und dort auf einen ÖBB-Taurus zur Weiterfahrt nach Österreich umgespannt.
