Rare bird at the Point Traverse Lighthouse in Prince Edward County | Yellow-throated Warbler | Setophaga dominica | Paruline à gorge jaune

            Rare in Ontario, a Yellow-throated Warbler from the south decided to take up residence at the Point Traverse Lighthouse (confusingly located at the tip of Prince Edward Point) for a little while in late October. It showed up on the 19th and stayed to at least the 25th. Kind of a mistake, as the bird should have flown to the Caribbean or Central America instead of Prince Edward County on the northeast shore of Lake Ontario.

I clipped the tip of the bill, and the light was a bit harsh, but I'm still happy with this effort to document a rare sighting.
