KL: Sultan Abdul Samad building

Once the seat of Malaysia's Supreme Court, today this fine historic gem of a building houses the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture. It was built in 1897 and was named after the reigning Sultan of Selangor at the time.

This is the perspective from Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square) in Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital. There's another view here.
