Emerging from the waves and near to far shore Firth Of Forth from North Berwick In Scotland

            Looking Sphinx like and also not Sphinx like. These are not the islands bought by Uri Geller. He has bought Lamb Island and two other volcanic outcrops in the Firth of Forth which mirror the layout of the Pyramids at Giza just outside of Cairo in Egypt. “I am fascinated by the connection between the pyramids and these islands,” Geller is reported to have said. In the pictures here, north of Lamb Island, there is just a look of a Sphinx.

The arc of the Sun draws ever on and on drawing out the shadows strong to wavering long. This picture is created after our day’s tired Sun has slunk off to sleep setting on mutable western pillows, in this case the hills of the Kingdom of Fife, over the stretched sea bedspread of the Firth of Forth. The waters and the sky hold onto the waning light, heat and colours of the Sun even as it is out of view at the end of the day there is a bright promise of light in splendour that will return to refresh and renew.
