🇫🇷 Les dik-diks sont des antilopes naines, qui mesurent à l'épaule de 30 à 43 cm. Le nom « dik-dik » vient du bruit qu'ils font lorsqu'ils sont en danger. Les dik-diks pèsent de 3 à 5 kg. Ils ont un museau allongé, et une légère fourrure qui est grise sur le dos, et blanche au niveau du ventre.
Bien adapté au climat aride et ses petits sabots lui permettent de se déplacer avec aisance dans la rocaille. Seul le mâle arbore de petites cornes d'une dizaine de cm parfois dissimulées par une touffe de poils sur son front. Très svelte, son pelage est gris brun ou rougeâtre. Globalement diurne,
le dik-dik de Kirk est surtout actif avant et après le coucher du soleil. Il se nourrit de feuilles, de fruits et d’herbe.

Il vit dans2 aires de répartition en Afrique : une à l'Est, au Kenya, en Ouganda et en Tanzanie ; et une au Sud Ouest, au Sud de l'Angola et la moitié Nord de la Namibie.
