Locomotive History
4141 was built at Swindon works in 1946 and withdrawn seventeen years later in 1963. Following withdrawal it was sent for disposal to Woodham Bros. of Barry from there it was bought for preservation. It became the twenty eighth locomotive to leave for preservation when it moved to the Severn Valley Railway in January 1973 and was eventually restored in 1998.
