2023 or 1973 ??? - a photo on Flickriver

2023 or 1973 ???

            This weekend was my daughter’s graduation from San Diego State. On the trip, we spent a little time walking at the beach, though it was overcast most of the time. Here, outside the famous Hotel del Coronado, the beach chairs were ready for a busy day. (No, we cannot afford to stay at that hotel.)

Anyway, it struck me that this 2023 scene perhaps could have been 50 years ago. There's no technology in the image, and the beach chairs likely haven’t changed much. 2023 or 1973?
