An India built Ashok Leyland truck in Tbilisi airport

            And so it's good bye Tbilisi, good bye Georgia. It had been a wonderful trip with friendly people and an efficient elderly driver guide, about whom the only complaint, apart from his not speaking a word of English is, he was rather greedy when it came to money. He wanted more and more and more, and was never satisfied. But whatever he showed me, he showed me pretty well, driving me to outstation locations in his large Mercedes, even stopping when I asked him to. On a final note, after a surprise charge by Fly Dubai for my check in baggage, I was sitting waiting for my flight when I suddenly saw this India built Ashok Leyland truck on the tarmac below. A feeling of pride for me of course, patriotism and all, but I did not see any other India built vehicles anywhere else in Georgia. This Ashok Leyland is a flight catering truck, probably waiting to load food onto one of the departing flights. (Tbilisi, Georgia, Sept. 2016)
