It was a lot more natural looking on my 1983 visit

            Seti Gorge looked a lot more natural looking on my 1983 visit. At that time, there was only a tea shack near hear and a taxi stand. Now in 2019, the place was full of tourists, taxi drivers and tour operators and trash. And they had constructed a power station and related infrastructure all over the place. And as though I was not feeling nervous enough, pointing my iPhone down the gorge, my driver guide kept imploring me to be careful, do not drop your phone, so many people have lost their phones here etc. Also, today  let alone natural beauty, Seti Gorge has become a dumping site for trash and household rubbish by thethe entrepreneurs and house owners of Mahendra Pul. Locals and the private business keep on blaming each other for the mess, but the net result is a very high level of pollution in these pristine waters- or what were pristine waters.
