ð Lizard Pointð

I pretty much always go out shooting with a plan. But without one on a gloomy, uninspiring Sunday afternoon, I just had to get out the house and decided to drive west. While driving, with the weather so dull and showery, I decided not to go too far, and turned down onto the Lizard Peninsula. I stopped at Poldhu, and thought "nah;" Kynance crossed my mind; but I ended up driving all the way to the bottom of Lizard Point which is where I got out!

The tide was out, but waves still lapped the decaying stanchions of the Old Lizard Lifeboat House's launch slipway. With the low light under a heavy sky, I was able to shoot with a slow shutter without filters. This shot took a little wave dodging - and as usual, I got wet!
