Slime Mold with "Fungi" Roots (Arcyria sp.), Singapore

            Goldilocks, Rewritten -    
Once upon a time, there was a big girl named Goldilocks. A red hot afternoon she was feeling blue so she went for a forest walk. Pretty soon, she came upon a sprout in straw hue rooting on dormant wood. Moving closer with care, she was about to do a scratch ‘n’ sniff test when the tubular growth suddenly spoke. “For dull skin to feel smooth and youthful, you have to know which scrub to use.” 
 
Panicked and scared she wanted to run away but her leg cramps made her stay. Quiet people have the loudest minds. Goldilocks paid attention on what the little beings talked about next. 
 
“Synthetic meshes are too soft to remove grime properly. Terry cloth scrubbers are too hard for comfort. You think the skeletons of ridge gourds are good? They give raw, angry skin if you rub too much. Only one – rainforest-based loo-fas from the mold zone are just nice” they humbly bragged.  
 
The pirouetting appendages with porous structure successfully make Goldilocks a believer in their perfect closing statement. “We are just right for you.” 
 
Full to the brim with wonder, Goldilocks exclaimed, “Soup is too hot, soup is too cold. Oh, this is cool! All of you seem a special specimen more precious than gold.” 
 
Eager to experiment an invitation made in amusement, she decided to help herself to the entire lot and went home. 
 
In the bathroom, Goldilocks spread the lather of DOVE and water first on her face. The grease on her t-zone, though they be as the Gulf of Mexico with oil spill, it was mopped up without trace. Following the contours of her cheeks, the loo-fa erased even the green buildup on Goldilocks tongue. After a belly good clean, the loo-fa routed behind to scratch the dirt off her back and armpit. Next off, from slender arms to thicker thighs it maneuvered in circular style. 

Arriving last at the bottommost part, the loo-fa scours harder to deliver a sole-full peel. Hey-hey-hoo-ha! When all the scrapings are done, Goldilocks stood under the sprinkler with eyes closed. How relaxing when the Amazon River poured his shower song on her… senses awake… at first glance, the soapy rinse pooling around her feet looked dirty like the polluted Ganges. On second thought, Goldilocks felt like a newborn babe. Hey-hey-hoo-ha! Full credits go to the amazing pouf. A gentle squeeze, the sponge is put up on the hook to dry. 

Ah… indeed, loo-fas of mold origin are the best for lackluster bodies because they exfoliate just right to give sparkling skin. Hey-hey-hoo-ha!
