A Ltter I Cherish

            While I was in Vietnam, I wrote to the Chief of Passenger Sales for the Western Pacific Railroad regarding a trip home from California on the California Zephyr.  This is the answer that he sent me.
I was guaranteed space on the train from Oakland to Chicago on very short notice.  My trip home on the train started on January 16, 1968.
