            One of the most enjoyable weekends spent on a train for me was the Riviera Ltd Pathfinder Tours train to Kyle of Lochalsh.
This tour threw the lot at us. By the time we got to Kyle the snow had really settled in and we arrived in Kyle in blizzard conditions.
We went off onto the Isle of Skye, but because of the Foot and Mouth outbreak we we're not allowed off the coach except in Portree.
The journey back to Inverness was nothing short of spectacular with sun, snow deer and a golden sunset to dye for! Oh - and I had the flu and I ran out of film! But I will never forget that journey!
