A nice surprise

            40122 840830 Droitwich Curzon St Worcester Shrub Hill.

With Worcester being the centre of Kays Calalogue a daily service ran from Worcester Shrub Hill to Birmingham Curzon St Parcels Depot.
This service ran in many guises and was once a Passenger service which ran from Worcester to New Street before running to Curzon St and ex-changing vans and returning empty to Shrub Hill.
By 1984 it had morphed into a simple out a back from Curzon St with one or sometimes two vans.
This day was a surprise as having been dropped off at the Station by some DMU, I was about to start the long walk home when 40122 hove into view so it was gratefully snapped slowly approaching the station having been regulated by the Bobby.
