Unpleasent Surprise - a photo on Flickriver

Doing a North Country Rover over the Christmas period saw me travelling round the north of England for a few days. Time was spent in the North East and with New Years Day being an almost shutdown in the North East and Scotland I opted for the West Coast for the day.
A loco failure south of Oxenholme ended with us being rescued by an 86 and I elected to bail at the lakeland station and have a ride out to Windermere before the light went completely. However I did not expect this to turn up.
143's were not what I expected to be covering the branch so I was not amused when 163620 turned up. Not suprisingly I rejected it and elected to go back south but not before taking a shot of the Pacer leaving on it's way back out.
