            G-IGBF, Vans RV-8 (CN LAA 303-15511) constructed by Barry Flippence reaches a major milestone in its eight year build process with the first run of its engine. The final stages of the built have been the usual frustrating 90% built, 90% of the work still to be done, but Barry can now submit his paperwork to the LAA and begin planning the flight test schedule with a tentative March first flight in the offing. Holding on to his hat, Bill Wilson provides help and advice, in true LAA spirit.
