La fonderie Ducel de Pocé-sur-Cisse, d'où sont sorties des sculptures d’art urbain présentes dans le monde entier, fut une des premières fonderies d'art de France au  XIXe siècle. 
Jean-Jacques Ducel a dirigé la fonderie pendant près de cinquante ans. Après son décès en 1877, l’usine est vendue et détruite. Il ne subsistent à Pocé-sur-Cisse que le château Ducel, quelques dépendances et le parc.
