Loch Tulla - a photo on Flickriver

Loch Tulla

            11/09/09 - just realised I had the narrative for another photo here.  D'oh!

Can't believe it's been about 2 weeks since this was taken.  I made the trip specifically for this shot - I saw in my contact Ouldm01's page that the colours were starting to turn, and saw the next day had a partly cloudy forecast, which is about as good as it gets for me recently.

I travelled up, and after a while shooting, decided the light wasn't going to happen, so got in the car and went to head home.  I happened to look up, and saw the clouds starting to get lit up, turned the car, climbed a deer fence about 10 feet tall (no damage to it!) and set up quickly.

Bloody midgies were everywhere (see shot below), but this is one of my favourite shots of recent time (that I have taken).
