While I was planning my honeymoon, I became aware of the existance of a place just outside Tuba City, Arizona which had dinosaur footprints. My wife was a huge fan of dinosaurs when she was growing up, so I thought we'd go.

Nothing really prepared me for how many there would be, I'd say probably thousands. Big ones, wee ones, carnivores (like this one) and herbivores. There was also loads of dino-turds about, which apparently polish up very nicely. The tracks show up best if they are sprayed with water.

I took a few photos at the time, but it was bloody hot and we were both suffering a bit from it.

I didn't do anything with the photos I took there until today because I am bored. I liked this one best because of the single print with claw marks. It makes me wonder what the beast standing there was looking at.

It's also similar to tracks on the Isle of Skye, near Staffin which is quite cool.
