P2M spider next to original Shimano XTR Spider

            As planned from the get go I ordered a Power2Max Powermeter spider and a Wolftooth 1x chainring for my new mountain bike. Installed in December. Well, aesthetically the original Shimano XTR CM9100 crank is way better. In fact, it’s one of my favorite chainrings and cranks for that matter. A thing of beauty! 

And on the complete opposite: that P2M spider is rather unchanged since I had one many years ago on my old Canyon… Three! bikes ago in my personal road bike lineage. 
But one has to make sacrifices, no? ;-) 

At least I now have power values again, also on my MTB. :) In fact, It would @power2maxofficial serve well to invest in some design upgrade as well as in some better finishing of the product.
But all in all it’s a nice product for a rather good price. And if it stays true to what I knew from the very first ones it’s just fit and forget. :)
