60087 - a photo on Flickriver

            GB Railfreight 60087 "Bountiful", still in its previous owners colours, pilots the morning 6E10 Liverpool Biomass Terminal - Drax PS loaded biomass over Regents Road crossing and away from the docks. The service loco, 66747 powered from the back to assist the loaded train up the incline towards Bootle Jn.

The tug works down light from Tuebrook to take the loaded trains back where it detaches, the consist reverses and the class 66 takes the service forward. Sadly we were done by cloud for 66747 at Huyton, so glad to have got this in the bag first off.

After a lot of waiting, the train appeared some 74 minutes down, although it had made up pretty much all of that delay after a quick reversal. It wasn't meant to be for 6E10 that day as the service was later cancelled and returned to Liverpool apparently owing to issues at Drax,

Gone through a few versions of this shot in processing as I get to grips with Lightroom, got it to a point where I'm pretty happy now.
